Private Lessons & Music Education
Overview
River City Music currently has several instructors from a wide variety of musical backgrounds and education that teach out of our Vancouver WA Storefront. You can become better acquainted with our renowned instructors utilizing the selection tool below. River City Music prides itself on having the most talented and educated instructors in the area. You won't find that anywhere else.
Dont pay for registration or other fees that many local stores charge EVER AGAIN. Click your Instrument and an associated instructor for more information or contact information to setup a lesson.
Scheduling
Private Lessons are scheduled through each individual instructor. Typically, lessons are done on a weekly (or, bi-weekly) basis and last 30 or 60-minutes depending on your preference, or even the teachers preference.
Pricing
Tuition for Lessons varies between instructors; generally between $20.00-$35.00 per 30-minute session. Each Instructor designates their own fee.

I have been playing guitar for 26-years. I have been teaching guitar for 15-years. I have always been a huge fan of many styles of music. Throughout my career I have performed various styles of music which include: Funk, Jazz, Country, R&B, and Rock. I feel that learning a musical instrument can enchance the lives of anyone with the patience and dedication to learn. Currently teaching Tuesdays, Thursdays, & Saturdays.

His relaxed and humorous approach to music encourages students to embrace a love for the musical art. He has 2 American Idol finalists to his credit, along with numerous students who have gone on to professional careers in theater, television, and film. He has extensive experience in Musical Theatre as Musical Director for over 40 productions in many community theatres.
He has received an award in Southern California for Outstanding Musical Direction in the theatrical production of The King and I. Don strives to bring out the best in each student. Whether a beginner, intermediate, or advanced student, Don will expand your musical horizon and styles to new levels. Currently teaching: Monday - Friday.

He was principal oboe of the Portland Opera Orchestra for 20-years. He is adjunct faculty as an oboe teacher at Warner Pacific College and Reed College. He enjoys teaching high school students and preparing them for auditions. Currently Teaching: Tuesdays and Fridays.
